I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
As like any seed the mustard seed has to be planted, nurtured, watered, and put into the light for growth. In the same manner we have to labor to cultivate growth in Faith.
Often we are enamored by what we see on the surface. However, the farmer has faith that goes beyond the surface of the soil, knowing there are roots growing, and one day his seed will yield a harvest. He’s not discouraged by what he sees, and his faith is evident by his works.
In other words, “if we pray to make good grades; our faith is confirmed by us studying and doing our homework. If we pray for God to save a generation, our works of faith will have us telling people about Christ.” We have to labor knowing that in due season God will provide the increase, and send the harvest!
