If we could offer two words to new members, they would be “get involved.” Getting involved in Worship, Bible Study or your choice of ministries we offer can solidify the decision you’ve made to follow Christ. The reality is that for every one thing pulling you “towards God,” there are numerous challenges attempting to pull you “away from God.” Being involved, developing relationships and learning God’s will for your life are critical as you commit not only to starting this journey, but staying on the journey.

Get Baptized
Baptism is an outward action that is taken once a person has made a decision to follow Jesus. It is not an act of washing away sins or being purified, but rather a public demonstration of our desire to die to our old selves and live a new life following Jesus.
For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

A Step of Faith
Following the example set by Jesus in the Bible, we believe that baptism is how we are called to make a public statement that we trust Jesus to forgive our sins and desire to follow Him for the rest of our life. The act of being submerged in water and then rising out of the water is a symbol of dying to one’s self and being brought to life again, new in Christ.
A Family Celebration
At Community Bible Baptist Church, we view baptism as an opportunity to celebrate! Each person who chooses to get baptized is a member of our spiritual family, and we gather several times a year to celebrate baptisms as a church.

Your spiritual growth is most important to us, that’s why we offer Life Group Sunday School for all ages , Mid-Week Bible Study, a Sunday Worship Service, as well a comprehensive Children’s and Youth Ministry . CBBC believes that every Christian plays a vital role in the Body of Christ, so we offer numerous opportunities to serve. We have opportunities for every interest and ability; we encourage you to find your place of service within the Community Bible Baptist Church family.
